Directions

From M8 - take J20 (westbound) or J21 (eastbound) on to A77. Go through 4 sets of traffic lights and turn left on to Alison Street. Go right on to Victoria Road and turn right at park gates on to Queens Drive. Continue along Queens Drive and turn left into Balvicar drive and take first right into Balvicar Street. Check-in is at the Ewington Hotel 5 minutes away.

Dumbarton Castle, Dumbarton - Site of the ancient Capital of Strathclyde. The Castle is spectacularly sited on a volcanic rock over looking the River Clyde.
